Your package
Find out which package your company is on, what its status means, which features it includes and what happens during a trial or a failed payment.
Each company has its own subscription to one of four packages: Starter, Business, Pro or Enterprise. The package decides which features you can use and how much of each (members, documents per month, clients and so on).
See your current package
- In the sidebar: the company card under the logo shows the package name in a small badge.
- In Billing: go to Settings > Billing. The Current plan card shows the package name, its status and a date.
Owners, Admins and Accountants can open Billing. Only Owners can change the plan.
What the status means
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Trial | Your first company's free trial is running. Trial ends shows the last day. When it ends, the plan starts billing. |
| Active | The plan is paid and running. Current period ends shows when it renews. |
| Past due | A renewal payment failed. You keep full access for now; Bilify sends a notification asking you to update the card. Do it as soon as possible. |
| Cancelled | The subscription has ended. The company is locked behind Choose a plan until an Owner picks a plan again. |
If the card says No active subscription, choose a plan under Available plans on the same page.
When the plan stops, the workspace locks
A company whose subscription has ended, or whose trial has run out without a plan, is sent to the Choose a plan screen on every page. Your data is kept. Billing, your Account page and the help centre stay reachable, so an Owner can pick a plan and continue where you left off. The API and the AI connector stop working for that company too.
What each package includes
In short:
- Starter: one user, client portal, activity log, e-Faktura, several companies under one login.
- Business: adds stock, recurring expenses, scheduled reports, multiple currencies, online card payments, contracts with e-signature, shifts, your own email provider and a portal on a Bilify subdomain.
- Pro: adds a portal on your own domain without Bilify branding, automatic DNS setup, the REST API and webhooks, the MCP connector for AI assistants, a sandbox, urgent support tickets, a bespoke document design and uploading finished PDFs for signature.
- Enterprise: the same features as Pro, with custom terms. It has no listed price.
The full table with every limit is in Bilify packages compared. Current prices are on the Pricing page.
How features appear in the app
A feature your package does not include is locked: depending on the feature, its menu item is hidden, its page refuses to open, or the page opens with a notice that the feature is not on your plan. Help articles about such a feature show which package it needs, and opening one inside the app shows This is not on your package yet with a Go to Billing button.
Separately, your role decides what you can see inside the features you have. If something is missing, see Roles and permissions.
